Hot Doggett Bicycle Ride

HAMARS provides communication support for the Hot Doggett bicycle ride, an annual fundraiser of the Madison County Rotary held on the 2nd Saturday in July.

We have stations setup at eight rest stops on three routes and the command center at Mars Hill University where the rides start and end. We also provide 3-4 operators in SAG vehicles. Several SAG vehicles, without operators, have APRS radios that we monitor at the command center.
